John Sebree is a senior managing director and head of real estate investment sales at Lument. He draws on his deep knowledge of multifamily analysis, underwriting, and brokerage, as well as his extensive client relationships as he drives the growth of this platform. He is based out of Lument’s New York office.
John was previously the senior vice president of multifamily investment sales at Marcus & Millichap, where he served as national director of multifamily and its Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division. Under his leadership, the division grew to become one of the largest and most successful investment sales groups in the country.
Before moving into investment sales, John spent 17 years as a top-producing Marcus & Millichap agent, developing a leading brokerage practice in the Chicago market and opening the firm’s Indianapolis office.
John is currently an executive member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and sits on its Workforce Housing/Government Affairs and PAC committees. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and is a past member of the Chicagoland Apartment Association.
